Key activities:Play a leading role in designing, implementing and managing a strategic program designed to bring Dell Technologies training and certification to students in higher education. In collaboration with Dell Education Services, Diversity & Inclusion and many other business partners, work with 2- and 4-year colleges serving minority communities, enabling increased access to STEM content, enhanced workforce readiness and engagement with professional opportunities.Principal tasks and responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategy and business plan
Identify initial set of partner schools and establish engagement model in partnership with University Relations and other Dell teams
With faculty and Dell subject matter experts, identify curriculum needs and program structure
Identify program requirements and roadmap including technology, legal, content, communications etc.
Coordinate launch and expansion activities
Establish and lead program management and governance structure
Define success measures and milestones
Establish review cadence and structure
Define and manage interlock with other Dell program and business unit teams
Prepare dashboards and executive readouts
Manage program budgets
Drive continuous improvement
Serve as program ambassador
Represent the program internally and externally
Prepare and present communications
Monitor industry trends
Identify opportunities for expansion and increased engagement
Required knowledge and qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong executive presence
Demonstrated passion and experience in fostering an inclusive and diverse environment
Commitment to improving the experience of historically underserved communities
Proficiency in working in a multi-cultural environment
Ability to define a strategy and turn into quantifiable, trackable project plan
Ability to define and analyze quantitative and qualitative metrics
Strong project management skills – PMP certification preferred
Experiences and Education:
Experience working with corporate engagement programs with colleges/universities, and/or training programs with external customer groups
Experience building cross-functional partnerships
Demonstrated ability to lead distributed cross-functional teams
10+ years of cross-functional project management experience in IT / high tech and/or education industry
Bachelor’s degree required
