Wellness Coalition Coordinator

Interior Alaska Center for Non-Violent Living is looking for a Wellness Coalition Coordinator to join our team. In this position you will have the opportunity to provide support and guidance to the Fairbanks Wellness Coalition, to include working with contractors, volunteers, and staff. This position is responsible for coordinating annual research, facilitating monthly meetings, providing concentrated outreach to the community, coordinating media outreach, updating training manuals for the Fairbanks Wellness Coalition, and holding regular meetings. Also, in this position, you get to oversee and update as needed, the Wellness Coalition’s funding process, provide screening for grants, and ensure an updated listing of resources are available. Lastly, this position is responsible for providing information to the community regarding the coalition and social issues through written form, public speaking, public campaigns, and social media.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a closely related field (job or school experience can be used in lieu of the degree), knowledge of the Fairbanks community, proficient with computers, data base input, presentation programs and equipment, experience in meeting facilitation, excellent interpersonal, group, and written communication skills, comfortable with public speaking, commitment to Coalition's mission, goals, and values, ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures and lifestyles, valid Alaska Driver’s License, ability to work unsupervised, and ability to pass background check.
