General Laborer (Anchor Point)

Dibble Creek Rock Ltd. (DCR) is one of the leading suppliers of gravel and ready-mix concrete on the Kenai Peninsula. Incorporated in 1984, the business has grown steadily over the years and currently employs over 30, hardworking individuals. Each member of the DCR team wears many hats and work very hard towards a common company goal.

DCR is seeking a friendly, reliable, and self-motivated laborer. The desired applicant must have a good work ethic and general understanding of operations in a fast-paced construction company environment.

Responsibilities / Requirements:

Shop Maintenance

Report any repair issues or equipment hazards to supervisor

Clean, lubricate, and maintain equipment

Assist with all general labor duties as needed

Ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces at times, lift a minimum of 50 pounds, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance

Wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times

Complete daily paperwork detailing job hours

Comply with all company policies and procedures

Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations

Experience / Qualifications:

Mechanical experience and earth moving equipment operational skills a plus but not required

Maintain ability to work professionally and problem solve with all personalities and situations

Strong work ethic
