Position Overview

The Mechanical Rope Access certified Technician is responsible for carrying out duties and responsibilities in a safe and timely manner as assigned by the Rope Access Technician Supervisor.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders

Have a comprehensive knowledge of advanced rescue techniques

Be able to demonstrate all the skills and knowledge required of level I

Assist other technicians as required

Ensure operational safety of all equipment

Must be willing to travel across the US.

Must possess a valid Driver License or ID.

Must possess a update TWIC Card

Must posses a Social Security Card

EDUCATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS :

IRATA / SPRAT Level 2 Certification required including proficiency in theoretical knowledge, equipment and rigging, maneuvers, climbing and rescue / hauling

Required certification levels for specific projects

Willingness to learn and improve

Team orientation

Ability to work productively in adverse conditions

Physically and mentally fit

Must possess a High School Diploma or GED.

Must possess an authentic SPRAT and / or IRATA Level 2 certificate, ID, & logbook.

Preferred technician with a combined knowledge & experience reading blueprints, adjusting, assembling, fabricating, & bolting components together.

Preferred individual with the NCCER Boilermaker & Pipefitter certification (Trained Individual).

Preferred candidate with the radiation safety certification.

Preferred personal with the UTT Thickness Only (24 Classroom Hours & 400 OJT Hours documented properly)
