POSITION SUMMARY :

Reporting to the Director of Ecommerce, the Email Marketing Manager at PGA TOUR Superstore will be directly responsible for developing and implementing the short- and long-term strategy and execution of our email marketing program.

This individual will lead the day-to-day support of digital merchandising operations for key product categories and announcements of both the brick and mortar and the online store.

This position will have a key impact on both our store and e-commerce sales and traffic by helping to drive the overall effectiveness of all email marketing initiatives.

The position sits within the e-commerce department, but will have daily interactions with marketing, content, creative, promotions, merchandising, as well as third-party vendors.

A successful Email Marketing Manager for PGA TOUR Superstore will help influence the go-forward strategy of our company, while bringing an understanding of best practices, market trends, analytic skills and willingness to evolve with our business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Oversee the day-to-day management of the email marketing calendar and production of email campaigns from start to finish, including creative trafficking, implementation, deployment, optimization, monitoring, reporting and analysis.

Work closely with internal merchants, acting as a liaison for e-commerce and marketing to accurately execute new product launches and organizational promotions into the email channel.

Manage the email marketing calendar, email testing and operational details to ensure accuracy in all aspects of the email program.

Manage the email creative development process, including gathering all inputs, brief writing, partnering with creative and content on process, providing feedback and proofing.

Optimize existing campaigns with ongoing tests of customer segmentation, subject lines, time of send, content, landing pages, etc.

Translate customer insights into recommendations for other marketing initiatives.Manage sweepstakes and other promotional offersLeverage email best practices and testing results to improve the impact of email campaigns.

Consult with third-party partners to help optimize email content and segments.Manage email reporting and develop internal dashboards, verifying accuracy of all data prior to distribution.

QA emails and verify email audience counts.Work closely with e-commerce and marketing to help drive other areas of the business.

Assist with online marketing efforts including user-generated content programs, in-house how to buy content and other content marketing efforts as needed.

Review new technologies and help keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital merchandising and marketing.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS :

Education : Bachelor’s Degree Required (Communications, Marketing / Business, New Media, or Telecommunications or related field).

Experience : 3-5 years of proven experience in email marketing required, preferably supporting an online business.Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, audience segmentation, customer databases, A / B TestingExperience with Bronto Marketing Platform a plus.

Preferable knowledge of and passion for golf and tennis.Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated.Must be an independent thinker and who takes initiative.

Adequate knowledge of email systems and SEODemonstrates the ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and visual formats.

Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels.Organization : Strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing and completing requests in an efficient manner.

Analytical : Possess strong conceptual and creative thinking.Computer : Advanced computer skills with the working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Strong knowledge of html for all digital design needs. Overall strong technical ability and understanding.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMAND :

Physical Requirements : Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting.Other : Must be able to work flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
