Summary :
As a Global Payments Agile Coach, you will be a trainer, mentor and coach in agile for Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Teams, Leaders and Executives to leverage lean and agile principles, practices and frameworks.
You may coach programs / organizations and or teams as needed across the enterprise to foster a Kaizen culture of continuous improvement.
You may also act as a substitute Scrum Master during PTO or other temporary situations for one or more cross-functional agile development teams.
You will cultivate an environment of collaboration and communication while reinforcing our culture of transparency, integrity and accountability.
Job Details :
Is an expert with different agile methodologies including but not limited to Scrum, Kanban and Scaled Agile
Is able to coach and train team members and others on the Scrum framework and related artifacts (user stories, story point estimation, etc.
as well as other agile methodologies to help guide teams to more successful outcomes
Provides cost effective training, coaching and mentoring to new teams and teams transitioning to an Agile methodology
Facilitates Lean, Agile, and Scaled Agile training sessions both in person and remotely
Helps to grow and evolve Global Payments’ custom training library
Assists delivery teams as a substitute Scrum Master during PTO or other temporary situations
Embody Scrum values and principles
Assesses agile maturity across teams and organizations and develops training plans for continuous improvement
Reinforces a culture of Lean thinking, Continuous Improvement (Kaizen) and Minimum Viable Product across the organization
Demonstrates and understands what specific Lean / Agile / Tools / Techniques / Principles to best apply, based on observed needs, environment and constraints
Displays a continuous learning’ mindset; always seeking to expand lean / agile knowledge and experience and keep abreast of the latest developments in the lean and agile space
Capable of training and coaching distributed and remote groups
Utilizes an in depth understanding of multiple team building techniques and coaching teams through Tuckman’s stages of group development to move teams to higher levels of agile maturity
Coaches team members to self-organize to share responsibilities and build cross-functional skill-sets
Leads training sessions for new hires or other resources looking to advance their Agile knowledge
Actively participates in Communities of Practice and other continuous learning opportunities
Performs with commitment, accountability, transparency, integrity and partnership
Helps to grow and evolve governance and reporting standards and best practices
Occasional travel to other locations
Skills
Self-starter with strong organizational and analytical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including group facilitation and training. Is comfortable communicating with key project stakeholders and senior management

Inspire and develop mastery of skill and discipline, quality, lean thinking and continuous improvement
Competency with Google Suite applications and other collaborative tools like Rally and Jira
Team player
Education / Certification
Bachelor’s degree or comparable training and experience
Scrum Master Certification (CSP, PSM1, PMI-ACP, SA or equivalent) required
SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) preferred
Experience
Proven track record of assisting Agile transformations and / or successfully growing and maturing teams
Minimum 5 years in a Scrum Master role or similar Agile experience
Minimum 2 years Agile Coaching experience preferred
5 years of experience in a software development environment preferred
Prior payment industry experience is preferred
