Inventory Analyst

DescriptionA client of ours in the North Houston area is seeking an Inventory Analyst to join their team for a temporary project though at least the end of the year. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years inventory analysis experience as well as experience using SAP and Blackline. The role is full-time hours Monday through Friday from 8-5. Please submit your resume to chase.jones@accountemps.com for immediate consideration.Primary Scope of Work:Inventory Volume Reconciliations – This role will have 77 Volume reconciliations assigned with a mix of monthly and quarterly. The volume reconciliations are primarily related to products that are stored at a third-party warehouse. Reconciliation between SAP and the third-party statements require strong Microsoft Excel skills and effective communication skills both with internal and external customers.Create Blackline Templates – The Inventory Accounting group is in the process of migrating volume reconciliations to the reconciliation software Blackline. In order to fully utilize Blackline all third-party warehouse inventory information must be formatted to standard format in Excel for loading into the system.Review/Create Desk Procedures- There are desk procedures for all volume reconciliations. These desk procedures will need to be reviewed and updated accordingly as the volume reconciliations are being performed. New processes such as the creation of Blackline templates will require new procedures to aid in effective knowledge transferRequirementsRequired Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance with a strong preference in the disciplines of Accounting Proficiency in Microsoft Office computer applications with a strong emphasis on Excel skills Demonstrates the ability to develop strong working relationships with team members, colleagues and customers.Preferred Qualifications: Experience with SAP FI/CO, Materials Management (MM), and Sales & Distribution (SD) modules Experience with BlackLine reconciliation software Proficiency in Catalyst (BusinessObjects)Accountemps, a Robert Half Company, matches highly skilled professionals with accounting finance jobs on a temporary and temporary-to-hire basis.
