This is a full-time position working Wednesday - Saturday overnight shifts, 7:00 pm to 5:00 am. The ideal candidate will have previous work experience in veterinary care and will be comfortable in an environment with small animals.

of animals that are patients of the hospital and cleans the hospital facility.

The role is heavily focused on cleaning but may include assistance with basic

patient care such as safe restraint of patients during treatment.As a BluePearl Veterinarykennel Assistant, you will:

Observe patients for obvioussigns of health concerns and reports to senior staff.

Clean and disinfects areas ofthe hospital as often as is necessary to maintain high standards of care.

Prepare patient meals, cleanspatient cages and bedding, and maintains litter boxes.

Safely approach and restraincooperative patients as needed during treatments.

Provide routine attention topatients, including walking dogs.

Effectively cleans and maintainshospital equipment and tools.

Remove and wash soiled laundryand keep clean laundry stocked.

Patrol facility regularly toensure cleanliness.

Perform other job duties asassigned.

Qualifications:

Ability to work in a busyhospital environment and proactively identify tasks required to ensurehospital cleanliness

Demonstrated calm demeanor

Basic communication skills

Basic knowledge of safedomestic animal husbandry skills, or ability to develop knowledge quickly
