Registered Nurse (RN), Pediatric ICU

The 56,000 square-foot emergency department is one of the largest and busiest in the state. We have an 84 bed Level 3 NICU Pediatric Specialty Care unit and a Pediatric ICU. Future plans include building a women and children’s facility on campus and expanding with 65 additional beds. Our hospital serves 2.5 million people within 9 counties, averaging a daily census of 641 patients. The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Community Regional Medical Center is a 10-bed unit in a large teaching facility with a busy 84 bed level 3 NICU and a fast-paced Level 1 Trauma center and Burn unit with a pediatric subspecialists available. Our goal is to provide care for the ENTIRE family receiving patients from a seven county referral area. The patients receive care for a variety of life-threatening medical and surgical conditions, using a family centered care approach. Nurses in the PICU learn the skills necessary to maintain vital functions for these fragile children, while supporting their families through difficult times.What can you expect as an RN with Community Regional Medical Center?

Experience and education minimum requirements

Graduate of approved nursing program required.

Licenses and certifications

RN, current State of California Registered Nurse license required.

BLS, current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required.
