Position Summary :

The Cashier / Payment Poster will be responsible for the posting of cash receipts performed manually and electronically assisting with posting of daily remits.

Will monitor and oversee submission of claims submitted for secondary payments and responsible for expedient and accurate posting of payments received.

JOB REQUIREMENTS : Minimum Education :

Minimum Education :

High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum Work Experience :

1-2 year’s experience of medical payment posting

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities :

Knowledge of medical practices, terminology, and reimbursement policies

Knowledge of account receivable practices

Knowledge of payment posting

Skill in planning, organizing, and delegating

Skill in evaluating the effectiveness of existing methods and procedures

Skill in problem solving

Skill in verbal and written communication

Ability to read, interpret and apply policies and procedures

Ability to set priorities among multiple requests

Ability to interact with billing staff
