Description
Provides professional and technical skills and knowledge toensure accurate and timely performance of clinical laboratory tests andreporting of results to responsible party.
Performs other duties as requested.Reports to the Lab Manager and Director of Laboratory Services.
Qualifications
Possesses the knowledge and skills necessary to provideaccurate, timely testing of clinical specimens, preferably in multiplelaboratory disciplines.
Good clinical judgment and problem solving abilities.Possesses skills in leadership. Good communication skills in English.
Bachelor’s degree in biological sciencespreferred
One year internship in California approvedprogram or equivalent
Prefer 2 years of previous clinical laboratoryexperience, preferably in a hospital setting
Current California Clinical Laboratory Scientistor Specialty License
