Property Management Company in Yorba Linda has an opening for a full time Human Resources Assistant. Candidate must possess administrative and interpersonal skills as well as excellent communication skills both oral and written. The person must be very organized, can perform multiple tasks simultaneously and be able to work well with others. Administrative duties include, but not limited to: record keeping, personnel filling, preparing audits, etc.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Create and maintain the insurance files of the park owned homes; for all the properties we manage
Conduct the worker’s comp audits; for all the properties we manage
Maintain the list of employees who drive along with documentation; for all properties we manage
Complete Labor Law posters and set-up park bag when we take on a new property
Assist / Back-up the On-boarding process for new employees in HRIS system
Assist / Back-up composing offer letter for new hires
Assist with new hire orientation
Assist in organizing and maintaining personnel files and related documentation
Must have thorough knowledge of company policies and procedures as outlined in the Company Policy Handbook
Assist and help update all Employee Handbooks when needed
Participate in planning company events under the direction of the HR Manager
Participate in the Adopt-A-Family Holiday Program
Assist with end of the year Holiday Event
Occasionally assist Safety Director with special projects
Participate in the Injury and Illness Prevention Program
Responsible for any other duties as directed by HR Manager as related to payroll. Will work closely with HR Manager
Must be able to work on multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be P/C literate and have working knowledge of Word and Excel
High School Graduate or equivalent
Ability to multitask, work independently and take initiative to resolve issues as they arise
Able to maintain strict confidentiality regarding payroll, benefits, and employee issues
Detail orientated
Perform tasks assigned by Principals of J&H or the Office Manager
