Extra-large commercial, domestic and foreign shop looking for experienced service advisor for busy service drive.

Have sales experience and vehicle knowledge? Please apply! We offer on the job training for the right individual. Commercial sales experience also a plus.

We are seeking a career oriented and motivated individual to offer excellent customer service to our loyal service department customers. Successful candidates will be able to show exemplary customer service skills and examples of effective sales experience.

We are centrally located just off the Merritt Parkway and 91.

Close to Wallingford, North Haven, Hamden, Cheshire, and New Haven.

Must be available to work Saturday. Must be able to pass a drug screening test and background check. Must have valid US driver’s license and a clean insurable driving record.

Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional customer driven experience.

Review vehicle inspections, estimates, maintenance for vehicle optimal performance.

Greeting customers promptly upon entering service drive.

Answering phones & scheduling appointments.

Verifying and obtaining accurate customer and vehicle information.

Reporting all vehicle concerns as described by the customer.

Recommending appropriate maintenance based on age, mileage and history of vehicle.

Accurate estimates of cost for labor and parts.

Paperwork to factory standards for warranty submission.

Proper accounting – attention to detail and costing our repair order correctly.

Monitor the progress of each vehicle, update customers frequently.

Verifying that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order.

Explaining all completed work and charges to customers.

Handle service loaners and rental vehicles.

Investigate and resolve customer issues and complaints.

Network and build relationships with new and existing client base.

Qualifications:

High level of professionalism and accountability.

Knowledge of ADP/CDK operating systems a plus.

Ability to work in a competitive sales and customer service environment.

Good attendance habits.

Ability to communicate effectively with customers and technicians to achieve correct repairs and identify customer concerns with accuracy.

Previous experience in service sales, customer service, or other related fields.

Must be able to multi-task, answer telephones and handle customers face to face.

Well-groomed neat appearance.
