We are at the forefront of figuring out what makes a specific person thrive in a given job or environment, and are building technology to improve the recruiting process.

We provide highly curated job matching through behavioral assessments, psychometrics and data science and use data to make the hiring process more personalized.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for an associate with lots of drive and energy to join our lean startup and help it grow. This person will provide significant support to the company by managing the components and activities involved with running daily business operations at SquarePeg and will work closely with our CEO and CTO.

This job will give you exposure to operations, marketing, analytics, sales, product management, and client / customer management.

You will also have the opportunity to research, learn, and implement new tools, technologies, and processes that will improve our business operations.

We expect our associate to help us shape the direction of the company and contribute opinions, and expect you to learn on the job! This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who wants to gain valuable tech startup experience across a variety of functions.

Because this role can be remote, we are looking for someone highly organized, self-driven, and capable of leading / owning a variety of projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to) :

Marketing & Analytics : Check our marketing attribution dashboard daily to identify areas of improvement and manage campaigns, this includes :

Identify new tools, technologies, methods, and partners for candidate acquisition. Research different options and run experiments / tests.

Work with email, social, & ads partners to identify and boost successful campaigns and edit poorly performing campaigns

Give feedback to recruiters on their performance and ensure they are meeting candidate sourcing goals

Create LinkedIn InMail campaigns and conduct A / B tests to identify top converting campaigns

Use SquarePeg jobs feed to crosspost jobs on other job aggregator sites

Use Google Analytics and HotJar (or other tools) to identify areas of candidate drop-off and suggest user experience improvements

Operations :

Build workflows in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to move job seekers through the onboarding process; adjust automated emails

Build playbooks for our chat bot, and identify ways to improve user experience

Understand in detail each job posted on SquarePeg and be able to distinguish top candidates from poorly matched candidates based on data

Review top matched candidates for every job and push top qualified candidates into employer dashboard. Review match scores and identify issues

Product Management :

Run tests (QA) on our app after new software releases have been pushed to the website to ensure they are working correctly

Suggest new app features and improvements needed (keep a running log)

Assist our data science team by testing our algorithm and providing feedback on candidate matches

Client & Customer Experience :

Build rapport with SquarePeg clients and conduct weekly check-ins

Prepare update reports for SquarePeg clients on their top candidate matches

Help employers understand analytics and dashboard

Manage SquarePeg CX reps and ensure they are attending to inbox, chat, inmail, and other inquiries; train reps in all aspects of technology (ATS, etc) and current roles

Sales :

Work with CEO to identify new prospects and enter information in Salesforce

Work with marketing team on b2b email campaigns, and help create and update sales materials

Help create outreach calendar and ensure Salesforce is updated

QUALIFICATIONS

We are very open-minded when it comes to hiring, and value the ability to learn on-the-job. If you don't have experience in any of the preferred areas but are disciplined enough to teach yourself, please apply!

Extremely organized and methodical, with a high attention to detail

Capable of working independently without a ton of oversight; able to provide regular progress updates

Able to learn new tools and technology easily with self-guided learning

Great interpersonal, written and verbal communications; Able to communicate effectively with clients via email and phone

Able to interpret data in a meaningful way and produce thoughtful analysis

High sense of urgency to get things done

Proactive, able to take initiative and propose / implement new initiatives

Experience with marketing attribution and reporting a plus

Knowledge of Google Analytics a plus

Knowledge of Salesforce a plus

Experience with startups a plus

Familiarity with hiring, recruiting, and HR Tech a plus
