Fork Lift OperatorKelly Services is currently recruiting for experienced Forklift Operators to support a project at the AAFES Dan Daniels facility in Newport News, VA.In summary you would be operating a forklift for the purpose of loading/unloading trucks. Looking for people who can be flexible for either 1st of 3rd shiftThese positions are for a project scheduled to last approximately 3-4 months or more. In some instances, this could be extended.PAY:$19.49 PLUS $4.22/hour- TOTAL $23.71/hourDURATION:3 monthsSUMMARY OF POSITION:Perform an array of forklift operator functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse utilizing a sit-down forklift, electric pallet jack (single/double), and/or stand up counter balance forklift.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Unload trucks using forklifts and/or pallet jacks Order Picking Loading product onto conveyor belt, pallets, or trailers Follow current good warehousing practice General housekeeping duties in the warehouse or production area and duties as assignedMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Previous experience driving a sit-down forklift, electric pallet jack (single/double), and/or stand up counter balance forklift. Will undergo onsite training evaluationExcellent communication, with strong attention to detail and good follow-up skills. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
