The ideal candidate will have experience in an indoor and outdoor environment, ability to pick up pallets with forklift, lumber industry experience is a plus.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Drives a forklift to:
Pull lumber orders.
Load lumber orders onto flatbed trucks and semi-trucks.
Unload lumber from flatbed trucks and semi-trucks and put into inventory.
Tally all trucks that are loaded and/or unloaded.
Rotate inventory stock.
Monitors forklift for fluid leaks, or worn parts. Report any repairs to manager.
Promote safety, organization, and tidiness of lumber yard and other work areas
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma/GED
Experience operating a forklift
Efficient time-management skills
Strong Safety Skills
Attention to details
Team Player
