JOB TITLE : Temp to Hire COVID Screeners

SUMMARY : COVID Screeners are responsible for serving as a gate-keeper at the facility point of entry and facilitating the COVID Screening process to ensure the ongoing safety of employees and residents.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES :

Conduct required COVID screens at the facility point of entry

Facilitate the health questionnaire and document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.

Report adverse findings within the established communication chain.

Adhere to established infection control and customer service protocols.

Facilitate positive outcomes in a team environment.

Protect privacy and dignity by keeping health information confidential; comply with HIPAA guidelines and related laws.

Adhere to professional standards, company policies and procedures, and all federal, state, and local requirements.

Assist Residents with minor needs.

Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Medical / patient care / healthcare industry experience preferred.

Ability to write and speak the English language.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Must have satisfactorily completed the Covid-19 questionnaire and have no adverse changes to the conditions stated therein.

Must clear facility based COVID testing and demonstrate a strong commitment to local stay at home orders and social distancing recommendations.

Must have strong commitment and adherence to standard precaution infection control protocols.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS : The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
