Job Description
Local Sign Company in the Coachella Valley seeking experienced Installers, Fabricators and Inside Production. Background in the Construction Industry a plus. Essential Duties and Responsibilities for Installer: Measure, cut and apply vinyl lettering and channel track to sign faces.
Install signs on location.
Remove existing decals, prepare surface and install replacements.
Operates power tools such as drills, saws etc.
Load, unload and transport all necessary signage and materials needed for multiple sites.
May assist in lifting, positioning and securing of materials and work pieces during installation.
Install site signs on posts.
Perform other routine duties as directed by crew leader and project manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities for Fabricator: Measure, cut and fabricate channel letters and monument signs.
Sheet metal bending.
Aluminum welding.
Operates power tools such as drills, saws etc.
Load, unload and transport all necessary signage and materials needed for multiple sites.
May assist in lifting, positioning and securing of materials and work pieces during fabrication.
Assemble signs prior to installation.
Perform other routine duties as directed by crew leader and project manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities for Inside Production: Measure, cut and apply vinyl lettering to sign substrates and vehicles.
Operate Vinyl Plotter.
Operate Flatbed Digital Printer.
Finish signs by cutting or shearing.
Remove existing decals, prepare surface and install replacements.
Operates power tools such as drills, saws etc.
Load, unload and transport all necessary signage and materials needed for multiple sites.
May assist in lifting, positioning and securing of materials and work pieces during installation.
Install signs on posts.
Perform other routine duties as directed by crew leader and project manager.
Job Requirements
Position Requirements: 1 to 2 years experience preferred with Vinyl Lay Down, Channel Letters or Sign Face Replacements
Must have valid driver's license with clean driving record with DMV Proof
Ability to do heavy lifting, prolonged standing and work at heights.
Ability to operate and work from Bucket lifts
Works safely and follows established safety program and guidelines
Ability to work cooperatively with others
Ability to follow specific directions
Ability to work within standards of accuracy
Must be able to communicate clearly the scope of work with customers
Experience with plotters and FlexiSign-Pro puts you at the top of the list
