The scope of these functions requires engagement of the incumbent in virtually all aspects of operations and health care management functions, including but not limited to both common and unique enrollment and billing, claims processing, member experience, provider service, and medical management pre and post-service procedures and platforms. The position is also responsible for communications and relationships with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS), and having significant knowledge and/or experience with CMS regulations and guidance.Other duties include business strategy and program development, including improving current financial and quality performance. Additionally, product strategy alignment, assessing and understanding the market opportunities and working with a specific growth strategy for the business that meets the business unit’s long range growth plan. In conjunction with cross functional business partners, identify and evaluate product specific opportunities and then develop, execute, and achieve strategic organic growth plans for respective product. Cultivate business relationships with current and potential customers and key strategic partners to ensure that the business is positioned to for growth, as well as provide solutions to current and potential state government customers. Hire, train, coach, counsel, and evaluate performance of direct reports. Qualifications Requires:

BA/BS and ten years of executive operations experience in the health care sector; or any combination of education and experience

MA/MBA preferred

Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills

Advanced strategic planning, organizational, managerial and leadership skills

5+ years of management experience leading considerable organizations

Medicare experience

Process improvement experience

Experience in a large managed care organization preferred
