Ashley & Vance Engineering, Inc. seeks highly talented individuals to join our team as a Senior Structural Engineer or Structural Project Engineer. We are a growing consulting engineering firm that employs over 80 people in seven branch offices throughout the western United States. Our people are creative, energetic, and forward-thinking. Our current openings for this position include our Oakland, San Luis Obispo and Reno office locations.

Our ideal Senior Structural Engineer candidate has 5+ years of experience, a four year degree in Architectural Engineering or Civil Engineering (with a Structural Emphasis) and has obtained PE or SE certification. Senior Structural Engineers in our firm prepare structural plans, details, and calculations for more complex projects, provide oversight, mentoring and project management.

Our ideal Structural Project Engineer and has obtained (or is working to obtain) their EIT certification. Structural Project Engineers in our firm will prepare structural plans, details, and calculations for projects that range in scope from remodels and custom homes, to industrial facilities and mid-rise commercial buildings. We are proud of our strong mentoring program and ability to expose new engineers to a wide variety of projects and responsibilities.
