POSITION: Production Worker
DEPARTMENT: Production STATUS: Non-Exempt
LOCATION: Hubbard, OR
THIS POSITION REPORTS TO: Production Manager
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Works in all areas of Production. Cleans, drives forklift, bags, seals, stacks pallets and helps out others as needed.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Helps get the line ready for production
Inspects equipment to be used according to safety checklist
Keeps work area clean
Follows all safety protocols
Helps out where needed to facilitate production
Work with other team members in the areas of safety and process improvement
Help with inventory counts
Other duties as required
Stooping to wrap pallets if needed
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Must be able to take and pass tests that are part of our required safety training
Must be able to follow instructions
Forklift certification
Must be able to lift 80 lbs.
Must understand basic math
Ability to work varying hours
Ability to work overtime as needed
Must be able to get to work on time
Must be able to work outside in the elements
Must be able to be on their feet for extended periods of time
Must be able to climb stairs or ladders as needed
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma preferred
Experience in a production environment or agricultural field would be helpful
Forklift, tractor, Bobcat or loader experience would be helpful
Bilingual Spanish/English helpful
