Job Description

The Team Leader is responsible for selling FTTX products and services in a designated area and is accountable for the profitable achievement of sales targets and revenue targets as agreed with client and company. The SE is responsible for their own sales conversion productivity, and directs their effort in order to have the greatest overall impact on results.

Activities include, but are not limited to,achieve sales targets, will achieve this through booked appointments and or cold calling within an assigned territory and visiting customers 75% of the time.

They will also monitor industry trends in order to identify emerging markets and develop plans to utilize those markets to expand revenue. The successful candidate should have a passion for marketing, ability to strike a chord with people, and understand the customers' needs. He/she should have great business acumen, be target oriented and should be able to develop innovative sales and marketing strategies

Qualifications

Matric HG with

A minimum of 2 years related field sales management in technical support/sales experience.

Tertiary qualification (degree/diploma) Business Commerce / Business Administration or Marketing would be advantageous

Additional Information

Must have own reliable vehicle

Vehicle less than 5 years’ old

Current Road worthy certificate

Current tyre certificate (minimum 10,000 km’s tread)

Proof of business insurance (with 30-day car hire option)

Date & mileage of last service

Valid Driver’s license

Bluetooth device required.

Must have own vehicle that meets Vodacom’s health and safety requirements.

Must have access to an alternative vehicle in the event that current vehicle is being repaired or serviced
