Description Our Enterprise PMO is currently seeking a Project/Program Manager to manage projects in our Insurance Division. This role is an amazing opportunity to manage cross functional, global projects across our insurance businesses with PMO best practices in mind. This position will be based in our Warren, NJ office, with a flexible, hybrid schedule of working two days remote each week.Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Manage key projects and make sure that key priorities, budgets and deliverables are on track
Develop detailed project plans to guide clients, employees, project team members and partner vendors on commitments and revise in accordance with changing needs and requirements
Identifying and assigning project tasks based on skill sets, experience, and strengths of available resources
Monitoring and reporting project performance to ensure timely delivery
Working effectively with stakeholders to achieve project implementation
Develop excellent leadership, customer relations and communication skills to liaise effectively with all project stakeholders
Proactively anticipates risks, opportunities, dependencies and costs, plan resources, milestones and deliverables to manage and implement projects.
Manage and resolve the risks and issues effectively, using the appropriate project forums to escalate items as appropriate
Facilitate business and operational relationships between clients and internal teams with effective and efficient communication to ensure accurate and timely project delivery
Lead and manage through influence vs. direct authority
Provide objectivity and transparency on initiative’s status on behalf of the company
Model the behaviors of strong execution discipline across the company
Provide recommendations to address challenges, risks, and issues.
Requirements
Key skills:
Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication, analytical, critical thinking, writing, and editing skills
Attention to detail and quality
Ability to apply common sense to complex challenges to drive to resolution
Innovative and self-starter attitude
Proficiency in MS Office software, especially Excel and PowerPoint,
4-8 years of Project Management Experience
BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Systems, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Experience delivering projects in P& C Insurance industry
