This work will be performed under general supervision.
Proficient with RFP to PO process.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Able to interface with senior levels of both internal and external stakeholders.
High awareness to detail, strong decision making ability and creative problem solving skills.
Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office Products preferred.
What You'll Be DoingPrimary responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Lead the development and execution of Request for Proposal (RFPs) for materials and/or labor, including Bid Evaluations, Commercial Negotiations, Terms and Conditions Negotiations, and Contract Award in SAP. Work closely with business unit technical team and engineering throughout bid process.
Hold applicable calls with internal and external commercial, technical, and legal team members.
Actively participate in kick-off meetings and/or pre-inspection meetings.
Drive Productivity through Cost Savings and Cost Avoidances for all assigned packages.
Calculate and report contributions regularly.
Responsible to execute against the Category/Subcategory Sourcing Strategies and Project Supply Plans.
Lead and/or assist in legal contract negotiations, agreement execution, management of change, and agreement implementation.
Update weekly reporting on open RFPs, save documents to OneDrive, issue Purchase Orders (POs) for outside inspection, provide information to expeditor as applicable.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and leverage contract value opportunities.
Manage supplier claims and associated resolutions.
Ensure continued compliance with all regulatory requirements, procurement guidelines, policies and procedures, and safety requirements.
Collaborate and support Materials Management and the Capital Projects and Turnaround Teams.
Manage and assist in invoice dispute resolution.
Successfully engage outside the organization, you will establish and maintain professional relationships with current and potential key suppliers. This will include monitoring performance metrics, resolving claims and/or disputes, market intelligence, and other contributing factors affecting availability and pricing of services procured.
