Care for patient accounts and make necessary adjustments
Manage incoming and outgoing calls regarding medical collections
Call on all past due amounts for patients and insurance organizations and document account changes within the practice management system
Requirements
Minimum of 1 year of prior healthcare collections experience
Healthcare practice management software experience preferred
Medical appeals experience preferred
Command of Post Payments
Proficiency in Claim Denials
Comprehensive knowledge of medical collections
Experience using Microsoft Office
High School diploma or equivalent required
Strong knowledge of explanation of benefits (EOBs)
Strong communication and social skills
