Accounts Payable Clerk

Description Robert Half is urgently seeking an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk. Based out of the Boca Raton, Florida area, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a long-term contract / temporary to hire opening. The Accounts Payable Clerk duties will include matching and batching code invoices, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, and processing checks.Your responsibilities in this role

Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling

Perform special projects as assigned

Provide support to internal business partners

Produce full-cycle A/P

Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies

Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks

Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly sorted, logged, scanned, and filed

Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis

Facilitate internal and external audits as needed Requirements - High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills

AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases

Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Expertise in Demand Forecast

Customer Demand Planning experience

Great Plains (GPAC) experience

Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
