Sr. Accountant

Description Robert Half is partnering with a global company hiring for a Senior Accounting. Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant include preparing and consolidating financial statements, analyzing and reconciling accounts, analyzing cash flow, establishing budgets and forecasting, preparing audits, and handling internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Candidates should excel at all levels of analysis. This position is full time with excellent compensation and benefits, as well as the chance to grow. The position is based in Mechanicsburg, PA and offers a hybrid work schedule with limited in office requirements. How you will make an impact

Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP

Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)

Allocate and prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis reports for management

Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations

Coordinate Ad-hoc projects as necessary

Provide assistance in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external

Offer involvement in various department-wide initiatives

Continuously analyze current automation of the accounting and reporting process and present improvement suggestions

Requirements

3+ years of overall general accounting experience

Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment

Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems

BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
