Bookkeeper

Description Robert Half Finance and Accounting has partnered with a Construction company near Empower Field in Denver to place their next Bookkeeper! This Bookkeeper position offers competitive benefits, a great work/life balance, and is paying up to $65K!The Bookkeeper will be responsible for the following:

Managing all functions relating to accounts payable and accounts receivable

Processing bi-weekly payroll and preparing payroll tax filings

Preparing monthly account reconciliations, financial statements and supporting schedules

Posting monthly journal entries

Filing monthly sales and use tax returns

Assembling subcontractor 1099’s and other IRS year-end requirements

Assisting in preparing and filing annual income tax returns

Assisting in preparing supporting schedules for external auditors

Requirements for the Bookkeeper include:

3+ years of full cycle bookkeeping experience

Strong working knowledge of all MS Office applications including Excel, Outlook, and Word

Experience using QuickBooks Desktop OR a large ERP system
