The JD McCarty Center is an organization that provides inpatient and outpatient therapy services to children with developmental disabilities. We are currently seeking an energetic and child-centered Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) to join our team! The position requires a 40 hour work week with standard hours being Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. This job does not require, nor does it promote more than a 40 hour work week. Should you exceed a typical 8 hour day, then you can trade that time out for later that week.

Responsible for supervising and provide training for Registered Behavior Technicians and Behavior Technicians and to train staff on how to implement the principles of ABA therapy

Create and implement individualized treatment plans for each patient in conjunction with a BCBA

Conducts functional behavior assessments

Identifies behavior strategies and interventions to implement in an attempt to reduce maladaptive behaviors

Collaborates across a variety of disciplines (Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, etc.) to make informed decisions regarding the use of devices, equipment, and techniques when developing the child’s individualized treatment plan

Attend JDMC functions related to promotional outings and marketing events for ABA related services

Responsible for monitoring billing information, data collection and daily session notes are being submitted

Assist with the intake process including parent interviews, collaboration with school and other therapies, conducting assessments and insurance requirements

Participates in scheduled on-call shifts, for a 24 hour period, to provide phone support to staff in assisting with challenging behaviors

Meets weekly with BCBA to review program progress of shared patients

Completes other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Must maintain all current certifications including Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Oklahoma Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA), QBS Safety Care and CPR/First Aid

Can learn and grow while working as part of a multidisciplinary team

Have strong time management skills and the ability to think quickly in unexpected situations

Physical demands may include assisting with lifting, holding, or positioning clients with disabilities. Sitting or stooping on the floor for extended periods of time. Standing or bending over repeatedly throughout the day. Assist with living skills such as feeding, toileting and/or dressing.
