Position Summary:Michigan State University Extension (MSU Extension) received grant funding to procure verified manure event information from state agencies. Data from manure events will be used to generate a report that will aid in the development of educational programs and materials that change manure applicator behavior. Tasks associated with this position include:

Reading reports thoroughly

Looking for specific data points

Extracting data points

Entering data points into a Qualtrics survey

Training on identifying data points will be provided. The successful candidate for this position will work closely with a MSU Extension educator.Position Term: On-Call allowed to work 1039 hours in any twelve (12) month period.Desired Qualifications

Detail-oriented, thorough in data extraction.

Experience with Qualtrics or similar online survey tool.

Familiarity with animal agriculture is desired, but not required.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Self-motivated.

Ability to work as part of a team.

Laptop or desktop and internet access.

Ability to demonstrate sensitivity, knowledge, and use of appropriate approaches, skills and techniques, which reflect an understanding and awareness of social, cultural and economic diversity of the target population served.

Demonstrated success in program development and delivery to diverse audiences/communities and proven ability in establishing and working with a diverse network of constituents and community members across race, color, gender, national origin, gender identity, religion, age, height, weight, disability, political beliefs, sexual orientation, marital status, family status, veteran status, socioeconomic class, and other differences.

Effective oral and written communication skills.

Proficiency in use of technology (e.g., web research, Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook for mail/calendaring, distance technology, etc.).

Other skills and/or physical abilities required to perform duties of the position.
