Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Santa Fe)

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. 1. Associates degree in Licensed Practical Nursing.

2. Current LPN license with the New Mexico Board of Nursing. Must maintain current licensure with the professional field licensing body.

3. Must be able to work flexible hours/locations. On-call is required.

4. Regular attendance is a requirement of the position.

5. Ability to communicate clearly with other departments and agencies.

6. Valid New Mexico driver's license, 3 years driving experience and

clear driving record as determined by auto insurance carrier.

7. Current negative TB skin test results (within last year).

8. Current drug screen with negative results.

9. New Mexico Criminal History Screening clearance.

RESPONSIBILITY SUMMARY:

The Licensed Practical Nurse promotes and provides direct nursing care to participants at the designated location. The LPN is required to complete the nursing process at the direction of the Registered Nurse and within the scope of the license held, collaborate with physicians and other members of the interdisciplinary team, and provide physical and psychological supports to participants and families as necessary.
