Nurse- Registered FT/ Day Cardiology

To provide individualized nursing care to patients, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Medical Center. Performs all other duties as assigned.Education: Graduate School of Nursing - Accredited Required. Bachelor's Degree Nursing Preferred. Experience: No Experience Required. Endoscopy Lab: One year Med-Surg nursing required. Endoscopy Lab: Critical Care experience preferred. Interventional Radiology: One year Critical Care nursing experience required. License/Certification/Registries (valid for the State of MS): Registered Nurse (RN) Required. Basic Life Support (CPR) Certification within 30 Days of Employment Required. Basic EKG Required. National Certification Preferred, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification Preferred. NICU: NRP required. Mother/Baby and Well Baby Nursery: NRP preferred. Labor/Delivery: online Fetal Monitoring course and NRP preferred. NICU: STABLE course preferred. PEDS: PALS preferred. Critical Care: ACLS preferred. Emergency Department: Trauma Nurse Curriculum and PALS preferred. Oncology: Chemotherapy preferred.
