Seeking a Mortgage Specialist to join a growing financial services company in Downtown Salt Lake City. This candidate will be responsible for accurately tracking wire approvals and transfers. This requires heavy client interaction so the ideal candidate will have superb communication skills with a high level of professionalism. Responsibilities / Qualifications:
- Reviewing and approving wires, transfers, loan funding, and managing cash flow
- Reviews and maintains the process for: Wire set up, monitoring the submitted wires on a daily basis and exercises awareness with regard to possible suspicious activity, money laundering, or fraudulent behavior.
- Serves as backup to other positions in the department when needed.
- Manage daily wire transfer activities, ensuring time sensitive actions are processed first
- Review documentation for completeness and accuracy to assure compliance with company wire transfer procedures and requirements
- Confirm incoming wires, enter and/or release wires in bank system(s) accurately
- Communicate with banks, resolve issues and manage reporting as needed
- Log to ensure no wires are duplicated, including success of wires
- Proof, validate wire instructions, and release wire transfers entered into bank systems by others
- 1+ years of mortgage/banking industry experience
- KNOWLESGE IN ENCOMPASS REQUIRED
