FACILITIES MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN (Neenah)

Valley VNA Senior Care is seeking a full-time Facilities Maintenance Technician to work at Valley VNA Senior Care, located in Neenah. This position will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of buildings and grounds to ensure the efficient and dependable operation of Valley VNA. This position requires on-call responsibilities and some of the primary responsibilities include;

- Responsible for keeping boilers, heating, air condition, and ventilation equipment (HVAC), sprinklers, and

elevators operable.

- Make repairs to doors, door hardware, roofs, piping, lights, replace ballasts, outlets, gaskets, washers and valves

as needed.

- Responsible for making minor repairs to appliances and kitchen equipment.

- Grounds upkeep – mowing, snow removal, pruning, etc.

- Takes trash out daily.

- Responsible for floor maintenance including: carpet stain removal and waxing non-carpet floors as needed.

- Plans and estimates work to be accomplished. Prepares and publishes a weekly work schedule to include on-call

rotation.

- Complies with state, federal, and all other applicable health care and safety standards

- Maintains a professional and pleasant demeanor with residents, contractors, inspectors and staff.

- Any other necessary duties or needs to keep our organization running smoothly.

Ideal Candidate will possess;

- High School diploma with additional training and experience in the skilled trades or facility maintenance a plus.

- Knowledge in basic plumbing, electrical, painting, repair work, and HVAC systems a plus.

- An exceptional customer service orientation to respond to questions, concerns or issues expressed by residents

and/or staff.

- Ability to think critically and analytically to identify and resolve issues.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality as required per regulations or policy

- Basic computer skills to track work and equipment purchases.
