Parts Buyer and Admin
Full or Part Time (30-40 hours per week), $15-$20 per hour DOE
Nice Auto and Truck repair shop in East Windsor, CT needs a Parts and Admin person to support a small team of service technicians. Main duties include:
1. Answer phones and help customers with information about scheduling of repairs
2. Order parts via email or telephone from forms submitted by technicians
3. Enter PO information and parts receipts into system
4. Help keep stock room organized and up to date
5. Assist with customer billing
6. Assist with warranty claims
Skills required include:
1. Pleasant telephone and customer service skills
2. Effective writing skills for clear email communication
3. Some experience with mechanical /electrical parts and part numbering
4. MS Office experience
5. Experience with computer systems used for similar service businesses
6. Willingness to learn, ability to get things done and a positive attitude
Great optional skills or experience:
1. Accounting / Bookkeeping
2. Marketing, website editing, social media capabilities
