Please review the job details below.Maxar is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to support our Sensor Programs team in Ypsilanti MI in a part-time capacity.A seasoned, experienced professional, you will use your understanding of your area of specialization to resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways.As a critical member of this team, you will work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.Required Qualifications:
- U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
- Requires a degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Math or related technology fields.
- 5+ years related experience.
- Strong programming skills (C, C, MATLAB, Python, or similar).
As a Lead Software Engineer with strong knowledge of Radar Signal Processing phenomenology, you will develop specialized, innovative new sources of geospatial data, analytic methods, software and engineering services.Our work transforms how customers support global mapping and intelligence missions at scale, revealing unique information and insights. We contribute to integrated air and space solutions that solve our customers most complex problems by harnessing and applying disruptive technologies.Responsibilities:- Supporting a multi-disciplinary team in the innovation, development, and evaluation of advanced capability radar systems.
- Opportunities to work with and learn from community experts while developing innovative new systems.
- Performing requirements analysis, system modelling, development, verification, and testing, ensuring system requirement satisfaction.
- Updating and utilizing toolsets to generate, manipulate and test system data.
- Take on increasing ownership and maturation of complex models used to design, test and optimize system performance.

Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate's unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience.
