We are seeking Histology Professionals to join the LabCorp team where we are dedicated to providing the highest quality medical laboratory services. Come work in our Pathology laboratory located in Brentwood, TN alongside a highly trained staff with the latest technology. Our services are performed with the utmost care, expertise, integrity and respect for the patient. Please note, you will need to provide official sealed transcripts as well as documentation for any applicable certification to secure employment with LabCorpThe schedule for this position will be Tuesday - Saturday, 10:00pm - 6:30am.Job Responsibilities

Performs all technical duties related to the production of histo-pathological slides.

Prepare slides for pathologist and external clients for interpretation

Perform routine and special microtomy procedures

Perform routine H&E stains, IHC and special stains

Perform routine tissue embedding and cutting

Maintains appropriate records as required by laboratory, company and various regulatory agencies.

Adheres to the laboratory's safety policies.

RequirementsJob Requirements:

Normally requires an Associate's Degree w/1-3 years of experience in Histology OR

High School Diploma with 5+ years histology experience.

ASCP highly preferred

Ability to work independently in a team environment

Strong ability to problem-solve

Proficient in computers
