Develop advanced analytics in support of an Intelligence Community client, by providing data science and machine learning solutions to include programmatically accelerating data access, automating methodologies, and developing models that enhance predictive accuracy that counter national security threats.
The Economic Security Mission Center (ESMC) provides intelligence to drive decisions and define the Department's intelligence equities in the economic security space.
We provide intelligence on threats to U.S. economic competitiveness, including intellectual property theft, supply chain threats, and illicit trade.
Our intelligence informs foreign engagement, policy discussions, and other economic security decisions for federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and private-sector partners.
We also regularly interface with the Department of Treasury, Department of Commerce, the U.S. Trade Representative, DHS Components, and our partners in the Intelligence Community (IC).

The position requires a minimum four years of relevant professional experience
Active TS or TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree in relevant STEM program; however, can qualify with non-relevant degree with more years of relevant experience
Proficient experience utilizing Python, JSONs, SQL, and XML
Experience executing data science methods using python libraries for Data Cleaning/Wrangling, Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA), Statistical Analysis, Data Visualization
Experience with machine learning to include supervised or unsupervised methods
Experience with Agile development methodology
Working knowledge with Collaboration tools, such as, Jira and Confluence
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong strategic communication skills to include presenting quantitative concepts in easy-to-understand formats and actively listening to identify business problems and their causes
Experience or exposure using zpython libraries such as zpandas, NumPy, GeoPandas, requests, urlib3, Matplotlib, plotly, scikit-learn, sciPy, OpenCV, GDAL, Keras, PyTorch, Tensorflow, NLTK, spaCy, Gensim,
Familiar with Amazon Web Managed Services (AWS)
Experience leveraging data analysis to construct compelling narratives
Experience extracting features from data stored in a wide range of possible formats, including JSON, XML, raw text logs, industry-specific encodings, and graph link data.
Ability to multi-task on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment; able to manage project tasks, scope change, and schedules to keep projects on-track
