Farwest Fabricators has an immediate position open in our Assembly Department

Assemble and attach components and hardware in a prescribed manner using power or hand tools, testing devices, gauges, and other equipment to form complete unites or sub-assemblies at a bench, conveyor line, or on the floor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.

Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bill of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products.

Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.

Verifies specifications by measuring completed components.

Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.

Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.

Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipate needed supplies, placing and expediting orders and verifying receipt.

Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies needed to accomplish job results.
