DescriptionAccountemps has an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk opportunity in a stimulating work environment with a team of highly skilled professionals. Attending to the general administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department, this role works closely with and reports to the Accounting Manager. The candidate will mainly focus on matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L and processing checks are primary areas of focus. Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents
Conduct full-cycle A/P
Help with internal and external audits as required
Provide support to internal business partners
Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks
Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis
Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time
Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling
Carry out additional projects as required
Requirements
Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
Great attention to detail
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Oracle experience
Command of HCM Saas Oracle Fusion
Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
