Business Systems Analyst (Applications - SQL, MS Project, MS Excel, Jira)

job summary:Remote Position Purpose: Design, build, test and maintain enablers of business processes, including technology and process solutions with a focus on medium to high complexity, multiple large application business processes and/or business relationshipsEducation/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent experience. 3+ years of related experience. Knowledge of programming languages, project management, and application or systems development methodologies. RFP, contracting and new business implementation may be required. Intermediate SQL query skills. 3+ years experience in one or more of the applications in Centene's application suite (or their equivalent). Walk me through the day to day responsibilities of this the role and a description of the project (Outside of Workday JD):

• Working closely with the project teams to keep the project on track. Keep the project plan up to date and communicate any bigger changes to the project team and stakeholders. Understand the project and the tasks and manage the successful completion.
• The business analyst will work closely with the business to ensure the provider reports are accurate.
• Prepare to produce the reports and validate reports.
• Root cause analysis on data variation.

• The project manager is responsible to keep the project on time, makes sure the team members have what they need to complete the tasks successfully and helps overcome roadblocks. The main task is NOT updating the project plan.
