Responsibilities :

Processes bi-weekly and weekly payroll.

Compiles time-sheet data and payroll information.

Performs data entry into payroll databases and software programs.

Calculates wages, benefits, tax deductions, commissions, etc.

Prepares and processes paychecks and cash deposits.

Maintains accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions.

Processes / monitors garnishment orders and other issues that impact payroll.

Responds to payroll-related inquiries and resolves concerns.

Performs account balance and payroll reconciliations.

Prepared financial reports for accounting and auditing purposes.

Prepares periodic payroll reports for review by management.

Communicates with all levels of employees regarding time card and payroll issues.

Qualifications :

3+ years' multi-state payroll experience, must have knowledge of accounting principles and payroll practices as well as tax and wage laws, strong experience with accounting and payroll systems, intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office suite, professional level communication skills (written and verbal), strong customer service skills must be able to interact with all levels in the organization, possess solid time managementand organization skills, and have strong attention to detail.

This position will work with little supervision.
