Sign Maker (Manassas)

Legendary Custom Signs & Graphics is searching for an experienced Sign Maker to join our team. Our Sign Makers are professional, self-motivated team players with great interpersonal skills and value delivering excellence. They are also detail oriented, work well in a fast-paced team environment and can efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously. Our Sign Makers are self-confident and not afraid to show their professional ability, creative genius and, most importantly, have fun!

This position has the potential to elevate quickly to production manager.

Minimum job duties

Sign design and production

Full-time availability (40 hours/week)

Answer phones

Consult/interface with customers

Maintain cleanliness and organization of manufacturing/production area

Maintain company signage equipment

Accurately keep track of electronic and paper records related to jobs

Learn new technologies, skills and techniques to become a better sign making professional

Minimum qualifications

5+ years of experience as a professional sign maker – design and production

Experience in vinyl creation and application

Large format digital printing

Installation of all manner of vinyl signage, as well as dimensional wall/lobby signage.

Strong computer skills

Expertise in using Adobe Creative Cloud suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)

Basic design creativity

Experience with RIP software, especially Onyx

Detail oriented

Strong communication and people skills

Additional preferred qualifications

Vehicle wrap installation

Exterior and/or electrical sign design and installation

Knowledgeable in color management

Certified installation professional (3M, Avery, etc.)

Experience with CoreBridge workflow management software
