We have immediate openings for Certified Nursing Assistants/CNA who promote the independence of our residents by assisting with personal care services: bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, oral care and other Activities of Daily Living (ADL) in accordance with Resident Service Plan.

The CNA will provide/complete accurate data collection of resident vital statistics, including weight, blood pressure, pulse, respiration and temperature.

Education, knowledge and physical requirements:

Must have completed the Illinois Certified Nursing Assistant course or be listed on the IL CNA Registry

Must be able to read, write and understand the English language

Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of personal assistance devices and their applications

Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of safety practices, procedures and maintenance

Must be able to verbally communicate information to customers and other employees.

Must demonstrate effective communication skills with residents, families, staff and other service providers

Must be able to frequently lift or carry weight up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift or carry weight up over 50 lbs; turn and reposition residents weighing up to 300 lbs alone or with assistance

Must have corrected vision and hearing within normal range

A current CPR certification required

Experience working with an elder population, preferred

Bi-lingual Spanish a plus

Work schedule may include morning, evening, weekend and holiday shifts. EOE
