Position Summary: This role will also serve as the Electrical Project Lead in a automotive chassis steering system. This position represents all electric and electronic subsystems in all aspects at system level and if necessary to the customer. Essential Duties: (This list is not exhaustive and other duties may be assigned)

Coordinating interfaces between system and electric / electronic subsystem development.

Coordinating all E/E components managers (e.g. ECU, Powerpack, Sensor, Engine) with the Subsystem Coordinator software development regarding timing, requirements and resources.

Coordinating the E/E components and subsystems requirements, under consideration of the modular kit strategy.

Coordinating the integration of the software into the overall system under consideration of release and test planning.

Supporting test execution as well as prototype assembling.

Supporting the creation of the system FMEA.

Coordinating with subsystem suppliers.

Meetings with customer and suppliers regarding E/E topics.

Reporting modular kit states, regarding the E/E components within the project.

Supporting the release planning (at system level).

Supporting the preparation and execution of system integration tests.

Coordinating fault analysis of defective function regarding E/E components.

Travel to client / test sites required.

Bachelor or Master in electronics, mechatronics, computer science, or control theory

3+ years’ experience with a system engineering role in development of complex electronic / mechatronic systems (steering or steer-by-wire systems preferred)

Good user knowledge in DOORS, CANape, CANoe, etc. desirable

Initial knowledge of functional safety and cyber security is an advantage

ASIL and ISO requirements familiarity

Cyber security and safety concept familiarity as it relates to chassis systems
