The Lexus Dealer Association (LDA) Assistant Media Planner’s primary responsibility is to work directly with the Media Planning Team on the 29 Central LDA Regional markets. The AMP will learn all aspects of local market media including spot TV/Cable, spot radio, local digital, local streaming, Search, local print, out-of-home and some exposure to sponsorships/event marketing. The AMP will also gain a broad base knowledge of media terminology, media options and basic media planning.  Day to Day:

    Goal Entry / Spot Buy Authorization issuance to Zenith.        

    Update and maintain flowcharts/budgets.              

    Budget reconciliations.        

    Assist team with Heavy Up/Cut Recommendations, ultimately doing these independently.    

    Create Print insertion orders.    

    Assist with POVs, ultimately doing them by themselves.    

    Media/Market Research (Clear Decisions, MRI-Simmons, comScore)    

    Establish strong, collaborative working relationships with our PMX partners at Zenith, Precision & the LDA Field Account team.

    Support and generate ideas to support an “Ideas Culture” agency.

    Assist with Digital buys and metrics reports. 

    Assist on market plans, ultimately managing some markets themselves.Experience: 

    Prior media internship experience is a plus. 

    Computer literate, with experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.  

    A solid understanding of basic math, especially algebra 

    Experience in proper business communications a plus.  

    Self-motivated, enthusiastic, team player that likes working in large groups.Education: 

A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.  Skills and Abilities: 

This person must be highly organized, with a charismatic and varied communication style.
