Delivery Driver (VI)

Essential Functions:

Operates library vehicles to facilitate the transport of books and materials.

Assists the with delivery process by packing boxes and loading materials to ensure transport readiness.

Coordinates library storage bins.

Sorts and distributes mail and library materials post-delivery.

Ensures vehicles are effectively maintained (e.g. kept clean and regularly serviced).

Maintains accurate written daily transportation records.

Collects money and deposits from branches as required by the Finance Department.

Assists with safety protocol including issuing forms and supplies as needed.

Preforms duties in accordance with established policies and procedures of library administration and safety guidelines.

Trains new drivers as needed.

Clean designated libraries.

Acts as an ambassador and advocate for the library.

Adheres to all PGCMLS policies and procedures and union contract.

Performs other duties as assigned.
