The Principal Compensation Consultant role will report to the Sr. Director, Global Compensation, and will work closely with our HR partners to provide compensation expertise to deliver pay programs and solutions in support of overall business objectives. This role will be aligned with our Revenue organization.Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive analysis and market studies to evaluate compensation competitiveness and provide recommendations that align with the compensation programs and support the Revenue organization to achieve desired results, identifying and generating competitive solutions to complex problems. Evaluates the effectiveness Revenue organization compensation strategy and programs through data-based insights, in partnership with the finance and revenue operations organizations. Regularly analyzes trends to inform effectiveness, identify opportunities, and guide decision-making. Provide consultation, coaching, and recommendations aligned to our programs to our HR business partners, Talent Acquisition partners, senior business leaders, and Finance partners on complex compensation issues. Build positive relationships across the organization and demonstrate the ability to influence clients of all levels on compensation matters. Partner with HR Business Partners to define and support compensation cycles. In addition to providing subject matter expertise, the consultants will provide issue resolution, reporting, and analysis throughout the cycle. Lead competitive assessments using market analysis, including defining the peer groups and formulating recommendations, and presenting to managements. Coordinate job matching process, review data when surveys are complete, and analyze market survey data trends.QualificationsAbout YouBasic Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in software/high technology industry experience with 4+ years’ experience supporting the Revenue organization preferred.Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. 4-5 years experience with the full spectrum of approaches and tools used for compensation-related market research, modeling, and analysisTravel 10-20%.Preferred Qualifications: Collaborative/customer-focused with ability to develop strong relationships at all levels, with proven ability and passion to influence and drive change.Ability to respond rapidly and independently to requests, develop and implement creative solutions, and follow through to ensure resolution.Proven expertise and skill to develop and deliver formal and informal reports, presentations, and communications to all levels in the organization including executive audiences Comfortable to challenge the status quo and proven ability to drive results in a dynamic environment. Ability to influence the decision-making process and outcomes through detailed analysis, modeling, and innovative recommendations while demonstrating compensation expertise.
