In-Home Caregiver (Pelham, NH)

Good afternoon. I’m looking to immediately hire an experienced in-home caretaker for my handicapped brother at my home in Pelham, NH. My brother is a 44yr old quadriplegic with cerebral palsy. You would be responsible for talking to him and keeping him company, feeding him pureed meals and nectar-thick drinks, hygiene (bathing and brushing teeth), and changing his diaper and external catheter. I also need you to give him his pill medications in the morning and evening. Right now he spends a majority of his time in his bed but we have a Hoyer lift to assist you getting him into his wheelchair for a few hours a day based on how he feels.

We need help on Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00AM to 7:00PM. The pay is $20/hr. You must have a social security number and a checking account that can receive deposits because I will use a payroll service that will direct deposit your paycheck by-weekly, and take care of your taxes. You will be in our home so of course you will have access to the same bathrooms we use and space in our refrigerator for your meals.

We also have a Chihuahua and a Doberman puppy – both of which are very friendly. If interested please be prepared to discuss your qualifications and experience with home care, particularly for disabled or handicapped people.
