UI / UX Designer

Kforce has a client that is hiring an experienced User Experience Designer who will create user-centered experiences that will transform what it means to create, prototype, and manufacture in the Digital Manufacturing world. Summary:In this role, you will work with a talented team on the experience strategy and customer journey for key parts of the digital solutions. You will work create experience architectures, site flows, wireframes with the goal of delivering best in class experiences. The qualified candidate must have a highly developed sense of user-centered design, attentiveness to detail, and possess excellent communication skills. The ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and clearly articulate ideas to designers, product owners and developers is a must.Responsibilities:

Define user experience requirements, user flows, information architectures, wireframes, taxonomies, personas, and journey maps in collaboration with project team members

Foster collaboration through design thinking and a user-centered design processes

Advocate for the end user, bringing their goals and perspectives into the product creation process

Distill complex concepts and then quickly turn around rigorous flows and mockups reflecting a range of simple, elegant, and technically feasible options for internal design evaluation and user testing

Analyze and synthesize design research and user testing data

Facilitate and participate in user and stakeholder workshops to gather relevant inputs to inform design solutions

Maintain and enhance the experience design aspects of existing and ongoing projects

Manage ambiguity, work autonomously and multi-task in a large design environment

Create detailed documentation and specifications of user experience concepts

Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Science, User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Product Design or equivalent

Minimum of 5 years of comparable experience

Strong analytic, synthesis and communication skills when dealing with qualitative and quantitative information and data

Experience in creating SW applications, Web applications, Mobile apps and Tablet apps

Must have an innovative and inventive spirit, and willingness to problem solve creatively and collaboratively with a multi-discipline design teams, including Experience Design, Visual Design, Interaction Design and Industrial Design

Proven ability to plan and execute

Strong presentation skills

Experience working in an agile environment

Ability to learn and adapt

Must be able to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment

Ability to showcase an inspiring portfolio that reveals your process and ability to problem solve and generate creative ideas, with samples of original graphic or visual design work
